She has served as the MLS Treasurer for three years and been on the Athens Area Association of Realtors board. Her civic activities include the Junior League of Athens, a graduate of Leadership Athens and a graduate of The National Center for Paralegal Training.

She has continued to keep herself educated in the real estate market by completing her (Accredited Buyer Representative) ABR, (Graduate Realtor Institute) GRI, and Associate Broker license. Laura is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club and a member of the Phoenix Club.
